Plane gratings are flat gratings which can be usein the following fields of application:
- Monochromators
- Spectrometers
- Laser technology
- Beam dividers
- Space technology
- Reflection standards

We offer optimized gratings for various applications in the spectral range from 100 nm to 50 µm. The gratings are produced in mechanical ruling or holographically and may display the following grating profiles:
The plane, mechanically ruled gratings are designed for the first diffraction order in autocollimation. The energy distribution is defined by the line spacing, the profile depth and the blaze angle. The gratings used in autocollimation offer the benefit of maximum efficiency for certain wavelengths (blaze wavelength).
The Czerny-Turner design is often used. | |
