So steht beispielsweise eine äußerst fortschrittliche Streulichtreduzierung bereit, für gestochen scharfe und brillante Bilder. Und die praktisch nicht vorhandene geometrische Verzeichnung stellt eine präzise genaue Formenwiedergabe sicher – was vornehmlich bei der Produkt- und Architekturfotografie von Nutzen ist.

Präzise, leichtgängige Fokussierung

Die manuelle Einstellung des Objektivs ist gleichbedeutend mit einer Steuerung der Bildergebnisse „aus den Fingerspitzen heraus“. Ein ergonomisches Design ist dabei alles. Der Fokussierring an den ZEISS Objektiven ist dank Bedienfreundlichkeit und ergonomischer Fingerauflage optimal für schnelle, präzise Objektiveinstellung. Änderungen sind sofort im Bildsucher sichtbar. Der hochwertige Fokussiermechanismus bewegt sich leichtgängig und ohne Spiel, sodass auch das intuitive Wechselspiel mit der Bildebene unterstützt wird.

Ideale Blendeneigenschaften

Fotografen möchten den Betrachter durch das Bild führen. Eine minimale Schärfenebene wird häufig als Gestaltungselement eingesetzt. Damit wird der Hintergrund bewusst unscharf gehalten und die Aufmerksamkeit des Betrachters auf das eigentliche Motiv gelenkt. Die ZM-Objektive verfügen über Blenden mit zehn Lamellen, die eine nahezu kreisrunde Blendenöffnung bilden. Damit schaffen sie eine besonders harmonische Wirkung der Unschärfebereiche des Bildes („Bokeh“).

ZEISS T* Anti-Reflex-Beschichtung

Alle Linsenoberflächen der Objektive von ZEISS sind mit der T*®-Anti-Reflex-Beschichtung und einem optischen Design ausgestattet, das auch bei ungünstigen Lichtverhältnissen brillante Bilder erzeugt. Zum Entspiegeln der Linsenoberflächen dampfen wir auf deren Oberflächen sehr dünne transparente Schichten auf. Zu diesem Zweck werden im Hochvakuum spezielle Substanzen eine nach der anderen mit sehr hoher Energie verdampft, die sich anschließend auf der Glasoberfläche als Schichten mit präzise gesteuerten Dicken niederschlagen und die gewünschte Reflexminderung bewirken. Die ersten Vergütungen wurden von ZEISS bereits in den 1930er Jahren angewandt.
